Principles of Fall Protection

Discover the essentials of fall protection and working at height in this introductory course. Designed for individuals and supervisors of those working at heights, this course covers the fundamentals of fall protection, including the importance of proper equipment usage, hazard identification, and risk assessment.

Fall Protection Competent Person

Our two-day course educates students on the various components of a worksite fall protection program and will also help develop the skills required of a Competent Person. Participants will learn course content through a combination of direct classroom instruction and multiple workshops.

Certified Instructor Fall Protection Authorized Person

This four-day course is designed to specifically prepare participants to deliver 3M’s Authorized Person Fall Protection programs. The first two days of this program will develop participants understanding of content as they will complete our Competent Person fall protection program (course #6424). The final two days of this program will explain, guide, and coach instructor candidates through the process of content delivery. The course will culminate with participants being assessed on their ability to deliver the prescribed programs.

Confined Space Awareness

Confined spaces can be very dangerous, in ways that are both noticeable and less obvious. It is possible to work safely in confined spaces, and enter and exit safely, too. It all starts with understanding and respecting the hazards.

Height Rescue - Authorized Rescuer

This one-day training program will educate students on the fundamentals of industrial rescue and the basic techniques used to retrieve a worker suspended in a fall arrest system. Participants will learn course content through a combination of direct instruction, workbook exercises, and multiple ‘hands-on’ rescue skills workshops.

Certified Instructor Confined Space Entrant and Attendant

This four-day course is designed to specifically prepare participants to deliver 3M’s Confined Space Entrant & Attendant program. The first two days of this program will develop participants understanding of content as they will complete our Entry Supervisor & Program Manager confined space program (course #6482). The final two days of this program will explain, guide, and coach instructor candidates through the process of content delivery. The course will culminate with participants being assessed on their ability to deliver the prescribed program.
